The overall park itself is nice and large with a lot of grassy areas for dogs like mine who love to roll around in it. The dog park area is just a fenced off section of dirt right along the interstate, so it’s very loud with all the traffic going by. So I like it here for the main park, but the dog park area isn’t worth it to me.

It’s a cute little park near music row — has a playground for kids and plenty of grass/trees for the dogs to run around (on leash). Has a water fountain with a lower bowl that’s accessible to dogs and waste bags/garbage cans available. Makes for a nice pit stop if you’re walking your pup nearby.

Great location and good food — especially if you go during happy hour when a lot of the menu is discounted. I stopped here for dinner after calling several places all over west Des Moines and having no luck on dog friendly patios. Great experience Ave my pup was happy. Will definitely go back sometime!
