Welcome to the brand new York Dog Park. After five years of planning and fundraising, the Friends of York Dog Park finally opened the park to public use. The park is located on the same property as the Mackey Skate Park. We share the parking lot. Follow the path on the left side of the lot along the path to the two fenced in areas. York is a carry-in/carry-out town in all public spaces, but we do provide poop bags. Water bowls are provided but not water. Donations via Venmo are suggested as no town funds were used to create the park and will not be used to maintain it. We will need to make sure the extensive trees are pruned for safety and that the fence is property maintained. There are three benches for your comfort but we welcome donations to have more. Enjoy this lovely new community resource.
