#1 thing to do in Newport, no question

It’s Newport, you need to get out on the water, and Sea Newport is the way to do it. If you only do one thing in Newport, it should be this. Coolest crew - Eva & Curtis are the best - friendly, professional, and a blast to hang out with. They knew all the spots & history as well. Gave great recommendations for things to do after. Option to add complimentary local drinks & snacks to the cruise - I recommend doing that if you can. BYOB & BYOF as well. Can’t recommend Sea Newport enough. Book it.

Incredible

This is the beach to go to if you’re in the area. Dogs allowed year round. Parking was easy and wide open unlike the national park beaches in eastham. Short walk to dog friendly part. Wasn’t crowded for us on a Friday.

Cool experience

Bought tickets online, drove right in, and enjoyed the movie. Highly recommend as a way to watch a movie with your dog if they’re good in the car. Not a ton of places for them to the bathroom though. Bonus: employee greeted us with a treat when we pulled in.

A must

A surprising dog-friendly harbor cruise. Boat is covered by roof, but open enough to allow a breeze to flow through. We went on a scorching hot day, but it stayed cool on board. Views are incredible. Staff is friendly & fun. Highly recommend.

A must for black labs!

Awesome awesome awesome brewery & staff. Great merch, we obviously bought a ton of it. Everything has black labs on it. We were greeted by the black lab that the brewery is named after. She’s a smaller lab just like ours. Good beer, good people, very dog friendly. Go!

Great location

Great location on the water. Steps away from the dog-friendly harbor cruise (also recommend) & dog-friendly Amsterdam BrewHouse. Walking distance to Rogers Centre (Blue Jays), CN tower, and a bunch of other downtown destinations. WiFi doesn’t have a captive login so it’s easy to set up a camera like Blink to watch your pup when you’re not in the room. Allowed to leave dogs unattended if you let the front desk know. There’s a park nearby for potty breaks, but nothing immediately outside - just a couple patches of mulch. Keep that in mind.
