Clean and comfortable room, beautiful walk to the coast. Helpful and friendly front desk staff.

Fantastic location. Walking distance to the coast. Beautiful beach. Walkable stone promenade to downtown. South of downtown, so more quiet and peaceful. Room clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches like ceramic coffee cups, glassware, plenty of coffee and a sweet welcome gift and treats for our dog. Front desk staff friendly and so helpful. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Would definitely stay again, and will recommend it to our friends (with and without dogs).

The room was clean and very comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful.

First time visiting Whistler Village. Visited in June, vey busy and very loud. A lot of excitement surrounding the World Cup game in Vancouver. Very grateful to find this restaurant which was tucked away a bit from the crowds and live music. Found a shady spot at the end of the patio. They had water for our dog and even brought a doggie bed for him. (he declined!)We had a good beer and cider, some chowder and a delicious salad, and a break from the noise. Personally, I would never return to Whistler Village with a dog. We walked around and passed 3 or 4 allegedly dog friendly restaurants, which would have been miserable. Felt very lucky to find this place. Ah, the luck of the Irish!

Clean and comfortable room. Green space near the hotel to walk the dog. Only a few miles to downtown and dog friendly dining. Nice breakfast.

Room was clean and updated. We were given a pet-friendly room. No carpeting, which probably is because of the pet. The room was on the second floor, no elevator so hauling everything upstairs was inconvenient. It was late, we were tired, first night of our road trip so we weren’t “road trip savvy” about room placement. Usually pet friendly rooms are on the ground floor. The price was right. Looks like the owners are making improvements and trying.

We were driving from Illinois to Oregon and stayed the night. It was very busy when we arrived. The front desk staff was professional and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and plenty of space around the hotel to take our dog for walks. Nice breakfast in the morning. The next day, Saturday, drove 6.5 hours to our next stop in Salt Lake City. When unpacking we discovered (to our horror) that we had left prescription medication in the refrigerator. The medicine MUST be refrigerated. We waited to pack it till the last minute and it got left behind. (New medication). We called the hotel and left messages, knowing it was the busy check-in time. There was an option to leave a message for the General Manager, which I did.
I doubted that he would be there at that time on a Saturday. I was panicked. I tried to send a message online to Corporate and as I was doing that the GM called me! The medication had been refrigerated. But we were 7 hours away. Bo, the manager, froze the freezer packs, packaged the medication in the freezer containers, and mailed them to us at our final destination in Oregon! He went above and beyond and was so kind. And the medication is new for me, very expensive, and would have been so difficult to try and replace. Not to mention dealing with my doctor and Insurance Company. Bo and his staff were incredible, and really reminded me of the good in people.

Room was clean and comfortable. Green space behind hotel convenient. Dog friendly restaurants within walking distance. Pool and work out room looked nice, but didn’t have time to try them out. Wi-Fi did not work, which was very disappointing. Staff attempted to “reset” it, but was unsuccessful. It sounded like the Wi-Fi is a frequent issue. A hotel this large, and at a higher room rate should not have issues with providing Wi-Fi for guests.

Room was comfortable and clean. Evening Manager was friendly, caring and professional. Plenty of grassy areas around hotel to walk our dog. New restaurant across the street from hotel had a dog-friendly patio (Uncle Mike’s BBQ). Food was delicious, and we walked to it. Would definitely stay again if we travel to this area.

On our first a road trip (Illinois to Oregon,), first time using an app to make reservations. We would be arriving late so I called to make sure it would be OK and spoke to Jen. She was so sweet on the phone. When we got in, I had made an error with the reservation and she fixed it for me. She was incredibly kind and so friendly. The room was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Really great breakfast in the morning. The neighborhood behind the hotel was nice and I enjoyed walking my dog around it before we left. When we checked out I spoke with the manager because I wanted to ask the name of the midnight front desk clerk, and tell him about our positive experience. He was sincerely so happy to hear about our experience and followed up with questions about our room, breakfast, etc. We left relaxed and well rested. A great start to our trip.

Nice, clean room. Comfortable bed with really soft sheets. Nice paved path behind the hotel to walk our dog. We walked him at night and in the morning. Spoke with a local in the morning who told us to stay on the path and not let him go into the high grass areas because of rattlesnakes. We always keep him close and on leash, but we appreciated the education and warning. I love how dog Lovers look out for one another.
