Lots of green space outside, and a quiet night inside. One note: We reserved a Deluxe Studio Suite - a King Bed and a sofa. When we entered our room, it was a pretty small room, no sofa. I went back to the desk to ask about it, they did change it, but I had to show something from BringFido showing that that was the room we reserved. The reservation number didn't do the trick. The difference in size was HUGE (and I love having a sofa when I can get one). So, make sure you know what you reserved, and have access to your BringFido account in case of issues.

The bed was hard, but there were many pillows to help offset that. The breakfast was good, but the orange juice is orange drink (bleh). We heard a high pitched whining in our room. Not super loud, but definitely irritating. After a little investigation, discovered it was the fridge. We ended up unplugging the fridge for the night. The whine came back when we plugged it back in in the morning. I did report it to the desk, and he wrote it down, so I'm guessing they will fix it.

Good room, decent food, and it was quiet. Enjoyed our stay.

The room was big, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good.

Liked the room - it was comfortable and quiet. Would stay here again.

I picked the town because of the name. I was pleased with the hotel - comfortable and quiet. We were on the second floor, but I could go down the stairs and slip out the front door to avoid people. The front desk staff was very sweet.

The rooms are hotel-fashion, with doors to the outside. That's fine, it was just surprising. The courtyard was large, providing lots of space for the dogs to do their business, but it took us a bit to find where the ground covering wasn't irritating for their feet. The most annoying part, though, was the breakfast. They serve the same breakfast as other hotels, but as a restaurant, with signs posted that there is no takeout. When travelling with dogs (who aren't supposed to be left alone in the room), this is a little confusing/ irritating. I like to get my breakfast and go back to the room to eat so the dogs don't worry. So be aware, if you are traveling alone with dogs, breakfast could be a problem.

The room is small, the bathroom is small. The shower is a triangle - elbow room on one side, touching the shower curtain on the other. The walls seem thin, because I could hear a lot from other rooms. My biggest issue, though, is light pollution. The crack under the door lets in a LOT of hallway light, and the shades let in a LOT of outside light (are there streetlights close by? not sure, just seemed very light). The fridge is tiny, and froze everything I put in there. On the other hand, the room is way cheaper than anywhere else, so what did I expect? Staff seemed pet friendly. It's OK for an overnight but wouldn't want to stay long.

Driving across South Dakota before the 4th, and returning after, I was looking for an affordable and safe location for myself and my two dogs. I don’t need much - a place to sleep and wash up. This was everything I needed, plus I felt like a guest of the family, instead of a customer in a chain hotel. Quiet area, felt very comfortable when traveling alone, dogs were happy with the space. I’d happily stay here again the next time I head west.
