We loved this spot on Lake Michigan. There were several well behaved dogs there and we had a great time chilling with the pup and exploring the little fish town!

Definitely dog friendly but checked in then checked right out once we saw the hotel. We drove an hour to find a different hotel since the rest of the hotels were booked in Big Rapids that night.

Great food & very dig friendly! We will go back.

The actual side walks by the harbor are great for walking with a breeze. There is a small spot that dogs are allowed right but the boat launch. However, the south beach connected to the marina area does not allow dogs on the side walk/by the beach so you have to stay by the marina side. There are dog bags stations, bathrooms, and a human drinking fountain right across from the marina.
