We had a great late breakfast at morning social on our first drive through Brevard, NC! We had a little wait so we sat at one of the picnic tables under some nice shady trees waiting for one of the dog friendly served tables under cover. When our table was ready the staff and servers all greeted our dog, a very friendly 2.5 year old Labrador, with her own water bowl, lots of scratches and pats. There were 4-5 other dogs with other groups, and all were friendly, I think helped a lot by the dog savvy and dog friendly staff. We’ll definitely come again! Pancakes and egg skillet were excellent,,,-and the coffee was really good

We were driving home from New England to Carolina and planned an overnight in DC. We got a great rate in a regular room which was excellent! They provided a wonderful dog bed for our 6 month old lab Penny. She really enjoyed the cool marble floor after a good early morning walk in the DC summer heat (before 8!).

We’ve been coming to Rockport every summer for over 20 years. This year we brought our 6 month old lab pup, our third, and we’re really enjoying our stay at cottage on the pond. Of the 5-10 different places we’ve stayed over the past years, the cottage is very much our favorite. The location, the setting with the great front and backyards, up the hill from the park and the beach… amazing. It’s a great place to visit and this is a great place to stay!
