We were the only ones in the well shaded, mostly fenced patio area. The server brought our dog water without us requesting it. Kids were able to run freely as we were the only ones in the patio area. It is conveniently located on the 101. The food was good with a number of vegetarian options.

Delicious food! Amazing view! Adorable outdoor space. Water provided for dogs. Go weather permitting as the dog friendly area is outdoors. The food was amazing and varied. Great vegetarian and vegan options, though they also had meat friendly options. Our young kids enjoyed the food as well.

Nice, spacious hotel. Enough space for the big dog's kennel. Space to walk him and some grassy areas to relieve himself. The hotel provided waste bags if needed. Wasn’t too hot outside. Breakfast was decent; standard hotel breakfast (processed omelets, on demand waffles, cereal, coffee/tea, packaged muffins, etc). Pool and hot tub were indoors but pool water was freezing and hot tub super hot, and both looked like the sides hadn’t been cleaned in a while (sides/bottom were brownish and water was greenish), so it was a disappointment for the kids. Good location. Highly recommend the cafe nearby if the weather is good for outdoor dining! Beautiful views and delicious food.

Rooms were nice and clean. But clearly a little damaged from irresponsible owners leaving their stressed out dogs in the bathroom and/or room (scratch marks all over the bathroom and main room doors on the inside). Plenty spacious for both a large dog crate and a baby playpen to fit. The outdoor area was fine, nothing fancy, but plenty of grass and light posts/fire hydrants for the dog to urinate on. I did not feel the area felt sketchy at all.

We stayed here 7/13/24 with our large dog and saw a few others on the property too. They do have limited pet-friendly rooms, but we booked last minute without issues on a summer weekend. Not sure why other reviews say they don’t allow dogs! They had lots of accommodations including outdoor covered/heated dog-friendly seating, beautiful gardens to explore, and even a small off leash dog park!

On a hot day we were encouraged to bring our dog inside the cafe and restaurant area. I was able to use the restroom and give him water in the restroom as well. I have a large but well behaved dog who was leashed the whole time. They also have a separate outdoor pet relief area (a small, sunny area with decomposed granite and a pretend fire hydrant).
