We went there. 9 pound dog in a tiny closed-in stroller. Stopped at the hostess desk asked for outside with our furry friend. Went through the restaurant to the outside back bar area. Had no problems. She was closed in her tiny stroller. Had dinner and even ordered my old dog her own chicken. Spent close to a couple hundred dollars in there. My husband wanted shirts. We went to grab some at the same entrance we came in from. Suddenly, a nasty woman appeared and loudly yelled . “ YOU NEED TO GET THAT OUT OF HERE!” So embarrassed. We ate there out back. No one said it was a problem. No one offered us a water bowl, but saw one. I quickly tried to leave and said. “You know we just ate here outback. We just wanted shirts. Spent a lot of money here.” I was so embarrassed. How many other ways could she have politely asked us to leave with the dog, NOT THAT, outside!? Once outside, I turned around and tried to stop him to him from buying the shirts. But, they had just rang him up! I was already embarrassed. He didn’t know that had happened or he wouldn’t have spent any more money in there for treating us that way. So NOT DOG friendly or even people friendly. She needs a course in communication! A confrontational moment like that wasn’t needed!! Never going back and don’t recommend anyone taking their furry friend there! Awful person sure hope she wasn’t the owner!

Not only did they allow our 2 furry friends, but they brought them water with a smile. And, the pups each had their own meal served on a frisbee. The human food was delicious! And the atmosphere perfect! Busy place. So go a little early. Loved the bar tenders as well!

I love Emily’s and it’s a frequent stop, but the dogs are not welcomed and I have to keep them in the car.
