I couldn’t wait to try Sweet Pea after reading the great reviews. My husband and I (and our chocolate lab) loved it so much we visited twice while on vacation this week. Such a quaint restaurant surrounded by their gardens, where they let you roam and explore. We sat at the patio and they offered blankets for guests that might have been a little chilly. The wait staff was fantastic! We had Bailey the first night and Allie the second night waiting on us, they were great and other staff frequently checked in and chatted with us as they went by. They were so sweet and attentive to our dog, Dunkin. They brought him a bowl for water and were very complimentary of his manners. But to the main star of the show - the food is fantastic!! The first night we got an appetizer - a special that night garlic spread with focaccia - yum! Then we got pizzas - “The Ranger” and a MYO with meatball and ricotta - both were delicious!! Oh, and they provide a dipping sauce for your crust - brilliant idea and so good!!! Second night we got the Mediterranean platter appetizer - mouthwatering!! We also had one of the best cesar salads we’ve ever had - the dressing is homemade with perfect flavor and the crushed croutons were an excellent touch!! And, we liked “The Ranger” pizza so much we got one again the second night. I can’t say enough about this place. Their service goes the extra mile and they back it up with great quality, fresh food and portions big enough to share.

We were so excited to try this place after all the great reviews we’ve seen and it did NOT disappoint! I got the lobster salad. A fresh garden salad with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots and a fun surprise of Maine blueberries in there! It was topped with a generous amount of lobster salad! The lemon vinaigrette dressing was perfect pairing. My husband had the large classic lobster roll and a cup of clam chowder. Both were fantastic! Chowder was buttery and thick with plenty of clams! Lobster roll was overstuffed with a hefty amount of lobster. We got a couple of sodas and the bill was about $80. Worth every penny for such an excellent meal!
