A wonderful off-leash park. There are 3 sections, one for small dogs and the other is for large dogs. The last section is the nature trail. It has a grassy path, uneven land and lots of tall grass. There is a hidden area within the trees and brush that water stays and then dries up. There are a few paths in between the foliage that connect to the outer path along the fence. The only thing I didn't like is that the sections were not accessible to each other. The gates were locked. So we had to walk around the skateboarding/bicycle ramp park. The large open area had drinking fountains for humans and dogs. A open shelter for shade, there are no large trees for shade so that is nice. There are bags at the entrances and some hooks to hang up dog leashes. This park is free to use and it's a great park. We drive an hour there because we like it so much.

Members Only. A large open space with some agility equipment, benches. There is a smaller area for small dogs. Has bags to clean up after your dog. Looked like some trees were planted. I was not impressed. I did walk Emma on the paved walkway around the lake. Much more enjoyable. I did like the entrance setup. There is no way to get in without a fob. Seperate gates for each area.
several different levels of hiking. lots of fishing spots. outhouse buildings. large picnic areas and small picnic areas as well. Fido must be on a leash at all times. There is even a restaurant on the grounds.
Great horse shoe hiking trail. Dogs must be leashed at all times. The one we hiked seemed to be around a mile. Down hill and up hill, open spaces and heavy wooded areas. Large picnic area on a hill. old school swing set. outhouse building. No water pumps that we seen so bring your own.

It was easy to find off I-65. Driving up to the building I got the feeling I was in the shady part of town. There was a “party” on the second floor. It wasn’t loud just a group of men hanging outside the room on the balcony. Drinking & playing music. Walking to our room I noticed a broken down lawn chair outside one of the rooms with a dirty pet bowl next to it. Entering the room we immediately checked for bed bugs. All clear.
For the most part it was a nice room. Until I noticed part of the ceiling which in two spots the paint was chipping. The hotel was definitely pet friendly. When our dog had an accident on the bed the office lady was understanding and gave us clean sheets. Those sheets were so thin they were see through. The comforter had burn marks. There was a lot of dog poop in the patchy grass. It was clean and it was a place to stay that accepted dogs without an additional fee. It's an old hotel that should be updated or prices should be lowered.
