This is a gem of a find! The dogs love this hike - it has a few small hills but is relatively level. The wide trails are well marked and mainly covered in leaves/pine needles. This is a standard hike for us once a week since we are close enough to walk there. The trails are almost all shade which is fantastic in the summertime! Highly recommend this hike.

We just took our 3 pups to Beans and Greens for wood fired pizza and live music. The owners, staff and other patrons could not have been more welcoming! The pups had a great time being guests of honor while we ate dinner and listen to music at our own table. There was another well behaved dog there as well. I would absolutely go back!

I am staying close to Gunstock for the summer with three small pups and they love their walks through the trails at Gunstock. We usually go on the Cobble Mtn Loop and then cross over to Panorama Dr to Brook Run. That is usually about 2.5 miles in almost all shade. We rarely see anyone there in the mornings. I highly recommend this trail - we all love it!
