My husband & I stayed with our ten year old black Lab for one night while we were in Bend for a concert. We were warmly welcomed with kindness and special biscuits for Emily, a VIP door tag letting everyone know she was there, as well as a comfy bed and water bowl in the room. Emily enjoyed the relaxing Dog TV channel on YouTube while we went to the concert, which was in The Old Mill District, walking distance from the hotel. There wasn’t a dedicated potty area and we were in a room on the third floor, but Emily did great with the elevator so overall the stay was great!
PS…the people features of the Residence Inn were nice as well…spacious living room, kitchen/dining area with all you need to fix meals (although breakfast is complimentary), and a big luxurious bathroom with a separate vanity area. You can’t go wrong with this one!

Baymont by Wyndham Cortez is the nicest hotel in this quaint little Colorado town. Beautiful grassy landscaping with access to ground floor rooms directly out into the big grass lawn, very easy access for potty breaks and ball playing! The rooms are very spacious and nice, and very very clean. The pool and spa are located inside the main building, but they’re in a beautiful plant filled atrium with high ceilings that feels like you’re outdoors. Breakfast is served on a large scale and it’s a complimentary full breakfast with a very large dining room. Our only downside was that the hotel (and the whole town, to be frank) was experiencing an internet dysfunction due to work being done in the area when we needed to check-in. The line to check in was very long. However, the two young men working the front desk were calm and helpful, taking care of each customer with care. The upside was that we got to chat with a lot of other nice dog owners while we waited our turn. I would go out of my way to return to this hotel in my future travels. Great stay!
