Stayed here less than 12 hours so checked in late and left before 9am. For what we needed, the room was fine - it was on the 2nd floor, close to the stairs so we could get outside easily enough. The room was not huge so if we were staying any longer it wouldn’t have been ideal. This hotel is in a fabulous spot with a nice walkway along the waterfront that was ideal for the pups to burn some energy on a morning walk. Outside the hotel there were plenty of grassy spots for quick pup pit stops. The hotel lobby was nice and they offered paid breakfast and had complimentary coffee/tea to start your day! We would stay here again if we are back in Norfolk.

Stopped quickly to let our pups run a for a bit during a roadtrip. This was a great spot. Pretty location near river. Three separate areas for pups to play. Plenty of water, waste bags, and trash.

Quick stay (checked in at 9pm and left before 9am) but it was fine for what we needed with our two pups. Nice front desk staff and check-in was smooth. It was very busy at the hotel, probably due to its proximity to the airport. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The water pressure wasn’t great. It was also disappointing that they didn’t even have complimentary coffee/tea available in the lobby for those of us that aren’t big fans of the in-room option. For the rate we paid and the fact that most hotels have that these days, it seems like it would be a basic perk they could provide.
That said, Dunkin Donuts was less than a mile away! On the plus side, there were plenty of grassy areas for our pups. The hotel is in a very well lit area with lots of other hotels and an office park with many sidewalks and grassy spots that provided a safe area for pups to stretch their legs. The streets behind the hotel were quiet since we were there Sat-Sun, probably a bit busier on a weekday. Overall, we would stay at this hotel again if we pass through the area on another road trip.

This was a nice little park with good paved trails that weaved through it. It’s in a cute neighborhood but had a little bit of a secluded feeling. I was there with my husband so felt totally fine. Might have just been the time of day we were there, almost 5pm so close to dinner time, but if I was there alone I may not have decided to walk on my own. It was a good place to stop though even if you just needed to let your pups go quickly. There was a little bit of goose poop but in terms of dog waste, it seemed to be picked up pretty well.

Stopped to let the pups play at this fabulous park. The dog park area looks to be fairly new and has two large areas separated for big and small dogs, plentiful water fountains, as well as poop bags, and trash bins. The park also has walking trails, restrooms, plenty of parking, and a playground. It was only a 10 min drive off I-40 and well worth the short detour.

This was our first stay at this hotel. It seems to be relatively new which was so nice because it was very clean and maintained nicely. The staff was very friendly. There were plenty of grassy areas around the hotel for pups to be able to go. The bar and restaurant had an outdoor patio that allowed the pups so we were able to order and have them with us while we ate dinner. We lucked out with the weather being fairly mild even though it was Nov. We would stay here again on a future road trip since it makes getting on and off 95 so easy.

We stopped in here for lunch with our 2 pups (4 yr old 50lb lab and 6 mo old 13lb dachshund mix). The staff was very friendly and brought the pups water right away. The BBQ sandwiches were yummy and it was so great to be able to be semi-inside since the patio area that allows dogs is under cover, which means it’s great no matter the weather. We would definitely go back here if we are in the area again!

This visitor center was a great pit stop along 95! The visitor center building had super clean bathrooms and a very well maintained dog run. It offered fenced in safe areas for both big and small dogs. Plus, there are tons of options for food in the immediate area. There are also picnic tables just outside the dog play area. We will definitely remember this as a great stop off 95 for any future roadtrips!

This was a very dog friendly spot! Staff gushed over our pup (50 lb silver lab) They brought her water and treated her to bacon! Food was just pub grub, nothing special. They had some appetizer deals. The atmosphere was fun with TVs that showed sports games. This was just a short 2 blocks from the beach.

We had a great one night stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and we had a nice beach view from our room on the 10th floor. Location right on the beach was beautiful. Staff was very friendly to our pup (50lb lab). There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance with patios that are dog friendly. Since it was Oct it wasn’t super crowded but weather was still so nice. We would definitely stay here again.
