We have a Big sweet girl — 120 lbs muttlet :)

Loved the Lobster boat trip!
Before we had a good bite and rum punch at Barnacle Billy’s. The lobster boat experience seemed more “hands on” than the lighthouse trip so I am glad we chose this for my family with two boys 10/12 years old. Captain was so experienced and shared his knowledge. Great narration by the crew. Learned so much. The boys held the lobsters and steered the boat. Beautiful weather so we were lucky. Bundle up! My dog was welcomed aboard and she wanted to exit boat but she tolerated it glad it was not a long ride.

Memorial weekend and we were concerned on where to dine downtown Bar Harbor. Testa's welcomed us in with open arms and dog-loving staff members. We had a corner table upstairs on the gangplank/deck and was super comfortable. Food/drinks delish. Pup had a chicken bowl. The staff were extremely kind. Will go back here when we are in Bar Harbor.

We did not sit here but took food to go and it looked very dog friendly. No parking nearby. Food outstanding, best fish sandwich of the trip.

Extremely friendly staff who welcomed us at the outdoor tables. Pizzas were very delicious! Also very large (would recommend one pie for two people and may have leftovers still; we got three for the 4 of us and had to leave a lot....)
great drinks/service its a keeper!

We stayed one night as a family with one dog (en route to Acadia) and found it to be perfect. Extremely dog friendly, friendly staff. We could walk to downtown (10-15 mins) for dinner and did not need to stress about any parking. The tiki bar at night was fun with lively bartenders and a cool fire pit. Rooms were very basic but we are used to that with dog-friendly stays. Breakfast was a plus and super easy. Even made an avocado toast! Pool was closed but was about to open and looked cute. Most importantly of all, the beds were comfortable and that's really what matters for a one night stay.

We had a lovely lunch here the other day under the tent. Very dog friendly— There were 4 or so other dogs at nearby tables. My girl got the puppy bowl which she loved but I did not let her eat large amount of rice! We best the lunch rush. Love this gem.

Great green spaces around the hotel and complex. Hotel is busy, lots of people. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in a dog-friendly hotel and steps beyond a waffle maker. Pool and hot tub very nice when we went super early morning but crowded later in day. Rooms dated and could use more A/C. Would stay here again!

We came for dinner tonight and it was simply perfect! They treated our 120lb mutt like a queen! The patio was perfect for our large pup to sit in the corner table. She was given bowl of water and lots of praise. Food and drinks are absolutely fantastic. No major sports games were on so it was relatively quiet night which was perfect for us.
I have lived in the area for nearly 4 years and cannot believe I had never been before! A hidden gem for sure. Will be back!

Great location close to aquarium and mystic village. Very welcoming staff. I was happy I was able to leave my dog in the room while I went to the aquarium and a movie (great luxury movie theater in the village) without any issues. It was the first time I have done that! The pool was heated but very chlorinated!
Breakfast was standard, but did the job. We were put in a room down the hall and booked a queen but upgraded to a King. Note: the pullout sofa in the king room was not very comfortable (metal bars) I would ask for another rollaway cot next time as it was very comfortable.
