Not safe, not clean, not worth it

I’m a solo female traveler with two large dogs and needed somewhere I could feel safe and comfortable. This was not that place. The room was in serious disrepair — a broken hole in the baseboard near the bathroom, heavy grime and dark scuff marks along the walls and door frames, and a shower with visible staining and discoloration around the drain. This wasn’t normal wear and tear, it was flat out neglect.

The noise level made sleep impossible and the overall environment did not feel safe for me or my dogs traveling alone. I paid for two nights and left after one morning. I didn’t even bother going to the front desk — I just left. We checked into a much better property immediately after leaving and the difference was night and day.

Cutest little gem

As a solo female traveler with two large dogs, I felt completely safe here and that matters. The staff was warm, down-to-earth, and professional from the moment I checked in. Very mom-and-pop in the best way. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, and wall A/C. We ended up in the family/handicap room (the last one available), and honestly it worked out great — plenty of space for me and my two dogs. Everything was genuinely clean, not just surface clean.

A heads up for fellow dog owners: there’s no designated dog area on the property, but there’s a park nearby which was perfect for walks. Complimentary coffee in the office was a nice touch. We had just come from a disappointing motel in Flagstaff, so Little Daisy felt like a breath of fresh air. Sometimes you just need a place that’s clean, safe, and run by people who actually care — and this is it. Would absolutely stay again.
