The Dog-Friendliest

Hotel Indigo was the best. From helping us with our luggage to guiding us to an entrance that didn’t freak out our travel worn hound, the team went the extra mile to make us and Jake feel welcome. The only downside to the hotel is the lack of nearby green space. However, the newly revamped French Broad River Dog Park is less than a mile away and we’ll worth the trip.

Great service, Clean Hotel

The night we were there we could have turned the hotel into a dog park with the number of four legged guests. The hotel was great. Very clean with friendly and accommodating hotel staff. They even had a trash can with poop bags outside the hotel. The tough part of the hotel is location. It’s not close to the Historic District. It’s on a busy road, and doesn’t have a lot of space for long walks, but has a patch of grass for quick pees. Greenbrier Park is 1 mile away. I took Jake for his am walk there, where he ran into a few deer. That made for an exciting start to our day. If you’re looking for dog-friendly and a comfortable night’s stay, La Quinta Cville is the place for you.

Great Food, Outdoor Seating

We had a great meal at Beer Run with our hound Jake. The place was very dog friendly with a covered and uncovered patio. The server brought us a water bowl for Jake and they bought us an umbrella when it started to rain on the uncovered patio. If you’re visiting Charlottesville, it’s worth the trip.
