We were excited to take our 3 labs to a new place for us in Salida. The outside area was great for dogs - lots of tables. We settled our dogs in with their usual bully stick to keep them busy. There were a number of tables with dogs and barking all around when new dogs would arrive. Nothing excessive from anyone, including us, but at one point a manager approached us and said while they are dog friendly it should be a good experience for everyone and if we couldn't control our dogs barking we would be asked to leave! Our dogs were no different than any of the other dogs - we have never had a complaint and take our dogs a lot of places. Additionally, I would be the first to remove our dogs if they were excessive. It was really off putting. The food was good but we probably won't go back.

Dog park was mostly grass and very clean - people pick up after their pets. There is a picnic table but no shade if you need it. We didn't need shade so it was a great quick break for us.
