Management/service was great! They let us bring our pup on the patio and provided a water bowl upon request. We kept her leashed and close, did well with the public training on the far end bench. Benches with shade are perfect for a casual afternoon in nice weather. They have a decent selection for food and drinks. Don’t miss out on their daily specials!

Coming from out of town, the dog beach is so small that we made a day of it and checked out the other dog friendly shops/restaurants at the Annapolis harbor first. Great for a small day trip! $6 at the main park entrance, nice big park. Follow the dog paw signs. From the dog beach parking lot there’s a short paved walking trail to a dock look out point, take a left past the stairs to find the dog beach. It’s a tiny beach, but allows off-leash dog swimming within the fenced area. Water isn’t clean enough for humans but shallow and calm enough for dogs. A few boats and jet skis passed further down across the way so a little bit of wake but otherwise true to it’s name. Helped to have a dog ball stick to grab the ball when it’s about to float out (there were a couple toys left behind that must have been carried out prior). We met three golden retrievers while we were there on a weekday afternoon, otherwise pretty empty. There’s a water hose by the bathrooms at the parking lot to rinse off, but it’s pretty rusty so bring a jug of filtered water for drinks. We were there until sunset, everyone seemed friendly/safe. Park closes at 8:30pm.

Having the dog can be a handful- this was perfect to grab an iced coffee and afternoon crepe! No line and outdoor seating, conveniently right off of the parking lot/harbor. Friendly and fast service. They serve the crepe in a wrap, similar to a burrito, so you can eat it one handed without worrying about washing up or holding the dog leash when taking it to-go while you sightsee. Highly recommend!
