Great place to bask in nature

My husband and I came here to get away from the city for the afternoon and decompress. We brought our pup with us and it was her first experience with mountain nature that we know of. The air was so fresh and the scenery was reinvigorating. I love that there were plenty of options for seating. We chose to sit at the outermost boundary as close to the trees as possible. The food was great, drinks were nice and cold, staff were super helpful and friendly, and we felt very welcome and taken care of.

Good food and friendly staff

Outdoor space was awesome for us and our pup. Food was good and tasty and so was the beer. Service was prompt and the vibe was nice. Fair warning though, park your car out front where you can keep an eye on it. While we were there, some cars got broken into out back. Management was proactive in making sure the patrons that got hit were helped ASAP. Definitely give them props there.

Friendly staff and good food

No dog menu, but the staff were kind and friendly to our pup. The outdoor seating was clean and spacious. There are also heaters for cold weather. Food is good.

They LOVE dogs here

We came here with our pup and were welcomed with open arms. The staff were lovely and provided great service. The food was good and they also had a dog menu which our pup gobbled right up. They have a covered seating area for folks that have pups which is awesome for cold weather season. The place has such a friendly vibe. Our time here was quite enjoyable.

Beware of owner's dog and owner

Protect your dogs by not coming here, especially if you have a service animal. My husband and I were putting our orders in at the bar since they had no table service and our 5 mo old pup who is training to be a service dog was quietly standing by my feet when all of a sudden, we heard loud screeching. We looked down to see our dog getting nipped at and attacked by a screeching dog. The bar tender proceeded to tell us that the dog was the owner's dog, Stella. I stepped in between her and my pup and eventually she ran off. Later on, we headed to the back patio and we again encountered Stella who now was running around the rooftop trying to get at my dog again. The owner had to yell at her to get inside. A little while later, the owner came to the back patio, going table to table essentially interrogating patrons if they were around when their dog got in a scuffle. I spoke up and said that it was my dog that their dog attacked. He immediately asked if I had kicked his dog. We clarified that we had only stepped in between his dog and mine. He stated that he had been told by the cook that there had been screeching and that his dog only did that when kicked. I put it plainly that the only reason we even noticed his dog there was the screeching it made - we heard screeching only to look down and see it nipping at and attacking our dog. Our dog was trying to get away from it. He replied with "she tries to do that with every dog - it's aggressive play if anything." WTF. SIR if you KNOW your dog tries to come aggressively at EVERY dog then YOU need to do something about it. We got NO apology about it and he tried to make us feel like we were the ones in the wrong. We will absolutely NOT be coming back here.
