Gator’s Dockside in Lake City welcomes dogs on their patio, and our waitress, Emily, was especially wonderful with our little Yorkie, Bristol! She brought Bristol a small cup of water, gave her plenty of attention, and even shared stories about her own dog while asking about ours. It was so nice to have someone who genuinely enjoyed meeting our pup and made us feel welcome.

The food was a mixed bag. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious, but the boneless wings weren't fully tossed in sauce, the Caesar salad was lacking, and the queso with pretzel bites was bland and a little off.

While the food could use some improvement, the dog-friendly atmosphere and attentive service made the visit enjoyable for us and Bristol. We appreciate restaurants that welcome our four-legged family members, and the service we received on the patio was a definite highlight!

We had such a great experience here! From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly dog-friendly and welcoming. They greeted our pup Bristol right away, brought her a bowl of fresh water without us even asking, and genuinely made her feel included.

The food was amazing — seriously impressed. The onion rings are an absolute must and worth the visit alone. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service was warm and attentive.

It’s so refreshing to find a place that truly welcomes dogs and delivers great food. We will definitely be back!

We stopped at Oceanside Beach Bar & Grill while traveling with our tiny Yorkie, and it couldn’t have gone better! The patio was welcoming, they brought out ice water for her right away, and even had a dog menu! Staff were kind and accommodating—even during a quick rainstorm, they let us tuck into a covered nook where dogs are still welcome. We appreciated the clear outdoor pet policy and the awesome vibe. Bonus: just steps from the beach, where Bristol got to dip her toes (well… paws!) in the ocean for the first time. She loved her pup cup and so did we. We’ll be back!

We had an amazing lunch at Frigate's Waterfront Bar and Grill today and can’t recommend it enough! We called ahead to confirm they were dog-friendly, and they warmly assured us, ‘We are dog-friendly if your dog is friendly’—which Bristol definitely is!

Upon arrival, we were quoted a 10–15 minute wait, received a text confirmation, and were seated in just 8 minutes. They gave us a beautiful patio spot by the water, where we enjoyed amazing views, delicious food, and unbeatable service. Our waitress mentioned that seeing all the dogs that her customers bring in is one of the highlights of her job.

Bristol even got some love from fellow diners, who stopped by our table to say hello and tell us how much they enjoyed seeing her out to lunch with us, and how well behaved she is. Frigate’s is a fantastic spot for dog owners looking for a welcoming and scenic dining experience!
