Great experience
Ocracoke Oyster CompanyWe have three large dogs so even though they are well behaved, dining out is not always easy. The outside eating area here made it easy for us to enjoy our meal even with a couple other dogs there as well. The waitresses were great and gave the dogs lots of attention (and also great service to us). The food was amazing as well. Overall would highly recommend.
Amazing food and relaxing spot for the dogs
Eduardo's OcracokeWe have 3 large dogs but the picnic tables at Eduardo’s are spaced out to give them plenty of of room (and shade). This is a must stop for breakfast or lunch. The food is great as well.
Great place for pups
Blowing Rock Brewing CompanyWe go everywhere with our 3 large dogs so finding places to eat out is always the top challenge. BRBC is a great place to take them. the food was very good. We got a couple of appetizers, a salad and a burger and it was all perfect. The service was exceptional also. The food and drinks came out super fast and our waitress was great. Very friendly to us and our dogs, she even brought them out water in a dog bowl. The outside seating area is spacious so the 3 dogs were no problem and they weren’t in the way (our 3 are very well behaved but we love places where we don’t have to worry about tucking them under a table to keep them out of the staff and customers way).
So good!
Morgan's Tavernnothing but great things to say about this place. we brought 4 dogs (yes, 4) and were able to have a relaxed, nice lunch. the tables outside are spread out enough to where we didn’t have to try and keep the dogs tight under the table. the food was great and there were plenty of options. our waitress was super nice and on point, kept both ours and the dogs water filled and cold on a pretty hot day. they have several fans in the patio area so it’s not only shaded but a nice “breeze”. the service was super fast too, we probably got our food within 10 minutes of ordering. A++ all around, from the food, to the service, to the setting.
Always great food
Fish Hut GrillWe live a couple hours away and visit 2-3 times a year and always get lunch here. The people here are great, always super nice and friendly and love dogs. All of their food is always amazing and short wait times even when busy. Parking can be tough during the tourist season but always worth stopping in. Super chill atmosphere here to hang out and grab a beer and some fish tacos or sandwiches.
Great food and outside seating
Gaffer'sThe food here was amazing. We had the tuna and lobster stuffed mahi mahi and it was so good. We had no issues eating outside with our 3 large dogs. The staff was so friendly towards our dogs and kept going out of their way to give them lots of extra attention. they brought them a water bowl as well. plenty of great food, appetizers, and drink options. we will definitely eat here any time we are in EI.
Great food
Jacobs Brewhouse & GrocerThere are a few other restaurants within downtown that allow dogs but the food at those places was typical appetizers, burgers, etc. The food at Jacobs is much better with healthier options and they had good beer options as well. They let us bring our two dogs outside on the patio area to eat. One of us had to go inside to order as there were no servers working outside, and the food came out in to-go containers but it was very good. This was in late September so that may be different during the summer months when it is warmer out. If/when we go back to Deadwood we would eat dinner here again.
Great Coffee Shop
Pump House Coffee & DeliWe stopped here 3 mornings in a row during our stay in deadwood with our two dogs. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches were great and the pups were allowed to eat with us out on the front deck, with a nice view of the street and glass blowing shop. The place was super clean, friendly, and fast even when busy on Sunday morning. We didn’t bother looking for another breakfast spot after finding this the first morning.
