Ryan is a dog lover
58 WestWe had Ryan as our server and he did a wonderful job taking care of our 7 dogs on the huge covered outdoor patio.
Post Hike Bevies
River Ridge BrewingAfter hiking the Maquoketa caves we enjoyed some tasty brews and flatbreads. Dogs were welcome on the patio overlooking the Mississippi River. Watching the boats and barges coming through the locks. They offer dog bowls for water. No dogs allowed inside and there is no wait staff. So if you’re solo, you’ll have to make friends to help watch your dog while you order, pickup your order or go to the restroom. Leashes are a must. Also all concrete patio, make sure you let your dog go potty before you head down to the patio. After we walked south and let the dogs play and swim on the banks of ol’ Miss.
Post Hike Lunch
Second Salem Brewing CompanyAfter our hike on the Ice Age Trail we headed to Second Salem for lunch. The thick cut Rueben was so so tender and delicious and my friend enjoyed her fried Avocado tacos. The beers were tasty and our four dogs enjoyed the patio in the shade. We were over dogs per table limit but the manager let us stay. Who can say no to 4 well mannered Vizslas.
Vizsla Oasis
Riley TavernAfter hiking at Governor Dodge State Park we drove out to Riley’s Tavern for lunch and bevies. Our two Vizslas had a wonderful time and we’re the celebs for the day.

Vizsla Lunch
Stanley's Northeast Bar RoomWe had 3 Vizslas who enjoyed their time at Stanley’s. Our server even brought out a separate water bowl for each dog on the Pawtio. The Hooman food and bevies were delicious too. Kudos to the team at Stanley’s!
