This was a great hike. 4/5 bones because there were a few down trees on the trail we had to hop over/climb under. If you have an older pet this may not be the best hike. We had to carry our little dog down the stairs cause they were steep. Overall really beautiful and doable hike.

They had some bad apples previously and no longer allow leashed larger dogs. The customers knocked people and things over with the leashes. They do have carts with pads. If your pup is good in a backpack or small weighted cart, you are good to shop with them. They have lots of cool stuff.

It's a long hike mostly through the woods. There are some creeks along the way but no big scenic views like most trails here. I’d your an avid hiker it’s a fun trip into town from up near the lodge. If you’re not sure of your stamina I highly recommend having someone park a car at the bottom. Because it’s mostly through the woods there isn’t much breeze in the summer.
