Perfect place to take your pup on an outdoor river excursion. John and brian were very informational and accommodating. Small dogs can fit in a one person kayak - large dogs only a canoe make (sure you get the seatbacks and a kayak paddle the river is 3 hrs long! They will pick you up at the end. In the beginning there are alot of places shallow enough to get out picnic play or rest take in the beautiful atmosphere farther down river gets deep so have fidos life jacket or make sure they can swim and or sit lay or be stationary for a period of time because if they start moving around or chase after something down goes the whole party lol but its all part of the journey. Tips : bring sunblock bug spray snacks and drinks. There were huge fish turtles alligators and even a mantee! To make our trip complete and live up the the name little manatee river was awesome for a day with the dog he absolutely loved it! Will be back!
