The museum’s policy is that dogs are welcome wherever people are! So we rode a trolley with our dog, climbed on lots of old trolleys and buses, and even toured the huge model train layout with her! So much for her to sniff and explore. Really nice people run this place. Enjoy!

Covered outdoor seating for breakfast with our puppy - just what we wanted! Our dog thoroughly enjoyed the people watching (and dog watching) from this sidewalk cafe. And we loved the pancakes, eggs, bacon, and coffee. Great service too!

We had a lovely dinner with our dog son an out June evening. The server brought our puppy a bowl of water and we were under an umbrella with a breeze coming off the water so it was great! I had the wild caught lobster roll (which is hot, with butter) - oh my goodness!! Amazing! My husband had a poke bowl and loved it. Definitely worth a visit!

The Portland Head Light has lots of history to explore and has a gorgeous setting. Dogs are welcome everywhere here. There is even an off leash field. Only drawback is there are no trash cans and no dog waste stations so you have to take the poop bags home with you. Parking is $6 for 2 hours and there’s plenty of parking. Great way to spend a few hours with your puppy!
Delicious home made ice cream and very doggy friendly! They offer a pup cup for $3.50 which is a doggy scoop with some dog bones sticking out. The people ice cream was absolutely delicious! (We had coffee Oreo and chocolate brownie sundae).
We found out that the blueberry pie ice cream is amazing, so now we have to go back to try it!

This amazingly pet friendly restaurant offers delicious food while sitting on a delightful porch overlooking the water. Couldn’t ask for anything better! They even have a dog menu! We had 3 breakfasts and a dinner here because we liked it so much!
Make a reservation and be sure to specify outdoor seating!

The seafood here is fantastic! We had the scallop dinner and the shrimp roll. Yummy! They brought our puppy a bowl of water and offered a dog menu! So very welcoming!
Make a reservation on Resy so you don’t have to wait. The tables are crowded but the food and service are fabulous! Enjoy!

Great front porch where dogs are welcome. Beautiful little friendly and quaint town of Lenox. You’ll love it and so will your dog!

It's our first night ever in Maine so we had to get some lobster! Such good food. We got a lobster dinner and a shrimp basket. Ate on a picnic table overlooking the ocean! And our dog thoroughly enjoyed it! Then we explored the rocks, and our puppy loved that too. Highly recommend!

We took our dog in for a visit on a hot day in June. Dogs are welcome in the cidery building, where we enjoyed Apple Cider donuts and a flight of 5 different ciders. Yum!
Then we walked the grounds and checked out the views. Lots of fun and very dog friendly!

We spent 3 glorious nights at the Devonfield Inn with our cavapoo puppy. The Queens Cottage is ideal! It’s a separate building with living room, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and sumptuous king bed. Our dog LOVED running around on the giant 32 acre backyard! A delicious homemade breakfast is included each morning. The hosts, Doug and Jim, are as nice as can be and so helpful and knowledgeable too. Highly recommend!

Visited with our 11 month old puppy and had dinner outside under the tent on a really hot evening. The food was delicious and our dog had a great time. Highly recommend the Cajun chicken sandwich!

Fun visit to meet baby calves (well behaved dogs on leash are welcome to meet them, too!) Then you get to have fantastic creamery ice cream and be sure to order a pup cup for your dog. Ours loved it on a blistering hot day in June! So fun for all of us!
