Very interesting view into the world of the Viking explorers that reached Newfoundland in 1000 AD. Staff was very friendly to Jasper, two of them even giving him Timbits (with our permission!)

Very cool place to visit. The people there are so knowledgeable and even demonstrate some of the arts / crafts / skills from Viking times. Totally dog-friendly… they welcomed our Jasper warmly.

Stayed here last night and our check-in was awesome. When this hotel says they are pet friendly, they don’t mean they allow pets. They mean they LOVE them. Connie and Leah fawned over Jasper and were ready with treats. We felt super welcome! The room was nice. Small downside is that the walls are a bit thin so we did hear people moving around but our room was close to an exit door so coming and going was very easy, which is great when you have a dog. The hotel itself was fine but truly it’s the staff that makes it such a wonderful place! We will most definitely stay again!
