Upon arrival, we had booked Bells Melody motel. There are 3 of them in a row, but Bells is the one that needs the most love, maintenance, grooming, cleaning, etc. The front desk lady quickly and easily acknowledged our concerns, we were traveling with our 11 year old diabetic senior dog and she put us in a ground floor, lake view, in the Sunrise motel. Room was comfortable, could use a real thorough cleaning, but the view was perfect and worked great for our dog for a few days. The location is convenient to all things Mackinaw City. Overall, all the locations need some TLC to make it what it once was I’m sure.
