Shabbiest, creepiest hotel ever. Do not pick this one! We had stayed in a very nice, new Extended Stay Hotel in another city (Greenville SC) the night before so had a positive impression of the brand. Unfortunately this location is a totally different story. The room was beyond shabby. True “ick” factor. And there is no lobby, just a locked and barricaded window in a cramped vestibule for check-in.
We arrived around 9:30pm and found it already locked up. It took half an hour on the phone with the national reservations to get them to rouse the night clerk… even though it was well before 10pm when we arrived. And don’t expect any coffee here whatsoever. The SC location had coffee and various grab-n-go breakfast choices so we through we’d find the same thing here. Nope. Nothing. I think the other Mobile locations may be newer and better. But this one was a dump!

Clean and spiffy! Lots of dog-walking grass in the back. Better breakfast (real eggs) than some competitors. Only negative was the $75 pet fee.

Not a brand-new hotel so don’t expect pristine furniture or spiffy corridor carpeting, but who really cares about that, right? The king bed was very large and comfortable, the breakfast was included (and had all you usually find at these types of hotels, meaning weak coffee, fake creamer, etc) and they allow dogs, so it’s a win!

Room was perfect! Breakfast is minimal but we don’t really care. The room was clean and well appointed and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, even gave us a plush towel to wipe her dog off after a walk in the drizzly weather.
