Love this place. It’s in a restored historic firehouse. Some of the beers on tap are crafted by local brewers (so good) and the wood-fired pizzas are great. Super-friendly staff and bartenders. The patio area is very nice also, with a restored train caboose as a backdrop. There is a small museum as well where you can learn about the firehouse and the historic Frenchtown neighborhood.

We went on a day they had a food truck there specifically for pets (Barkcuterie) and our girl loooved every single treat…and the owner was so friendly. We just had a great time all around. The street taco truck that was there was super yum for us humans too - excellent birria tacos. And the inside of the old Texaco shop, they have everything decorated so fun and retro. There is a bar open inside but they have other drinks and treats available too. Will definitely be back again.

Their food is always so amazing but this was our first time visiting with our dog. We chose the brick patio streetside and it’s late winter so they had the fire pit and a few heaters going which was nice. Our server was so sweet to our pup and even brought her a bowl of water. They even had a little basket of fleece lap blankets (for the humans). We had coffee and the most delicious chocolate espresso bread budding.

I’m SO glad we discovered this restaurant thanks to bringfido.com reviews. It was a half hour drive from our hotel at Myrtle Beach but absolutely worth it. We went at night and it was dark out but there was plenty of outdoor lighting on the gazebo patio and we loved the atmosphere including the live music that wasn’t overly loud. They were so welcoming and seated us quickly and even brought water for our pup. There were lots of outdoor spaces to walk with her while waiting for our food (it was near closing time and not super crowded) but the best was the beautiful boardwalk area overlooking the water that runs alongside the restaurant and it’s neighboring sister restaurant. And all the food was fresh & amazing, too.

We have dined here many many times but we adopted our first dog recently and our first time there with her was great! They seated us quickly in the amazing outdoor patio area (it’s massive) and it was around 1 pm and pretty hot out so it wasn’t super crowded. Staff were all very friendly to our pup and they were sure to seat us in the most shaded area which was nice. The brisket sandwich is my all-time fave…and their beef-fat fries everyone craves. And the fried pickles appetizer…so yum.

We live just up the street from this location and it’s nice to be able to bring my pup with me when we are out and about. She loves to watch the fish in the giant fish tank. Staff has always been friendly to us. There are a few green spaces in the parking lot for a relief area, but they aren’t designated as such so be sure to bring your own waste bags. There are also waste bags sold in the pet section inside the store. They have a lot of unique pet items here you won’t find at Petsmart, etc. Everything from scent training and things for hunting with your dogs, to heavy duty dog outerwear & gear, feeding supplies….and a lot of really cool nature/outdoor inspired toys.

We’re local and Picasso’s has been a favorite spot for years and we adopted our first dog recently. They almost always have a water bowl set out for pups. They have a few tables and chairs on the sidewalk in front of the coffee shop and we sat there at first and enjoyed coffee with our doggo, and when it started raining, they were so kind to tell us she was welcome in the front/entry space (where you order). There is a long banquette with barstools along the big windows facing Main Street where you can sit. They even brought her a pup cup and were so sweet to her.

This is a great place and love that it’s locally owned. We’ve always had great service and they are friendly to our pup. The patio area is pet friendly and there are a few green spaces nearby just be sure to bring your own waste bags, I don’t recall seeing any provided.
