Always greets our dog when we stay there, we've stayed there multiple times and it's our go-to hotel in Fredericton. Near a local Micro Brewery and a short drive or walk to O'Dell Park. Lots of space near the hotel to go for a walk or to do a bathroom break before heading to bed for the night.

Always greet our dog at check-in. The rooms are always very nice and our last one we were upgraded to had a separate bedroom that had 2 entrances so he loved being able to run around in a circle. The location is just about the best in downtown Halifax. The Citadel is diagonally across the street and a fantastic spot to go for a walk.
There are stairs you can use in place of using the elevator but they do lock the door going back up late at night so you need to use the elevator to go back up at those times. You can typically tell when a hotel is accommodating to dogs as opposed to just accepting them. The room we had last time is not something I would expect to be upgraded to where we had a dog with us.
The parking out front is usually full, the garage is located behind the building to get there you have to go down Sackville and onto Market. It's tight for full size trucks but I saw them in there so they do fit.

Location is right in the downtown area, close to many amenities. There's a trail along the water, the interprovincial bridge to Quebec is a short walk away. The room has an outside door so you can take your dog out without navigating stairs or elevators. The hotel itself is just okay. Some renovations have been done but it's still an older property which seems to be lacking basic maintenance.
One outside door the light is burnt out so it's dark at night. The bathroom was renovated but finishing work around the tub and walls is sloppy. Now, if this was a cheap hotel I'd have expected stuff like this. But this cost as much as a newer hotel in a bigger city. So overall great for dogs, but they don't care about that stuff. Just overpriced for what it is.

Located between 2 car dealerships, right of the highway so location is great. Older property with renovations done to it but seems to have what look like long term residents staying it in. We had an older woman next to us that smoked right outside the door so you got some of the smoke getting into the room.
There was a patio door that opened outside so great for letting taking the dog out. Not much to walk around but there's grassy areas around the dealerships and you can walk up the road there is a sidewalk. Of note, when you enter there's a service dogs only sign but due to the breakfast area being in the lobby, they were required to have that posted.
Front desk personnel both greeted our dog so they are accommodating to dogs. For the price the room was as rated I wouldn't pay more for it.
