Only seems to be friends here before or after work hours. We barely see people on weekends too! Where is everyone?

We go to this park, multiple times a week with my small and large dog. It’s pretty quiet most of the time except for mornings before work and evenings after work. Weekends even seem to be quiet, except for the occasional friend to play with. There is a pool to cool off in and a creek for hot days.
