Location, location, location!! Grassy area by the river, downtown, near parking… options to be in the self-serve area or where there is table service… what’s not to like?

Patio is dog-friendly! Tons of outdoor seating. Food is from café next door and is quite good.

Almost half the tables on the patio have dogs and they even have a doggie water station with bowls so people can refill for their pups. The food and beers were excellent!

We decided that a Mcmenamins pub is a safe bet for decent food when we are on aroad trip and are not familiar with the local eateries. So we figure we world give this one a try. This one, unlike some of ones in historic buildings. Is located in a strip mall. However, they put a lot of effort into screening off their patio with shrubbery so when you are sitting there, you can't tell that you are sitting next to the parking lot. The staff are friendly and offered Gimli water when talking drink orders. 😊
