Hotel is old, sheets, rugs and towels are worn (wash clothes were almost brown), breakfast was limited. We booked last minute so our room was on the 3rd floor. That is all they had available. Area for the dog was limited. I saw more grass behind the building. Old saying is you get what you pay for. Nicer places cost more, reasonable dog surcharge was $25, compared to $75 at other places so that was a perk.

One night stay

Convenient room location for our dog. Very pleasant gentleman who checked us in. Breakfast on Friday starts at 6:30 but she was done setting up early so she let us help ourselves around 6:20. Very nice gal working the breakfast as well. No rug in the room so the floor was dirty. We only had one wash cloth so I had to go ask for more. Very comfortable bed and a good night sleep. Just what we were looking for.

We Were Robbed At This Hotel

They do not have cameras where they told us to park and three trucks were broken into last night. We filed a police report. The area where the dog can do his business was very buggy. I was eaten alive while walking him. Our sheets where dirty, the location of the room was good but the fact that they have no surveillance cameras is bad. The police officer told us three other times this summer there were break ins in that area. I do not recommend this hotel. They comped our room but you can’t replace all the items that were stolen from us. (A Yeti cooler, two suitcases, electronics, all our footwear etc.)

Staff Greeted Us And Took Care Us

Arrived very late after traveling 15 hours. Nathan saw we had a dog and found us a room on the first floor without asking. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. In the morning I thew the ball for our 1.5 year old 95 lb black lab in front of the Motel 8 but there was plenty of area to walk the dog near the hotel as well. As we were leaving the staff was courteous and asked if we enjoyed our stay and were very pleasant. Competent people and comfortable King bed.
