Historic and updated

Grand Eastonian Hotel & Suites

Lovely stay. Great morning breakfast set up. Huge suite, more than we needed. Very clean and comfortable. My only reservation is the very great distance from the bedroom to the bathroom. From one far end of the bedroom to the farthest end of the space. Great place.

Bottom of the barrel

Quality Inn and Suites

Shady characters hanging about the parking lot watching us unloaded the car. Music after hours not addressed by the management. Adjoining room had a shared door between us that had almost an inch of clearance in the bottom to let their 3am chatter and cigarette smoke keep me from sleeping at all before my long drive later that morning. If I could submit photos, you’d see gashes on the wall and the largest in the bathroom door, along with the toilet paper dispenser hanging precariously almost two inches out of the wall.

Each building on either side is empty and seems to have gone out of business a long time. The front door had big gashes in the side where the lock was and was almost black with grime and dirt. I’d have gone somewhere else, even as late as it was, and I was on a tight schedule. Never again. Oddly they are part of an outfit called “Choice Hotels,” who really ought to drop them from their fold. The one bone out of five is for the friendliness of the front desk guy and the firm bed and clean linens and towels.

Thirsty Turtle Seagrill

great fresh fish and shrimp, and everything else!! Sublime service. The dog was treated to fresh water and was very much at home! We will be back again and again. 🌹

Hot Diggety Dawg!

Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille

Great ambiance, casual, yet elegant in a simple and accessible way. The menu mirrors the same. Paella and Caesar together with Pinot Grigio and the hot fresh bead mini baguette that came out was unexpectedly delightful. The service was caraway good, and Dadsy should know since he has been in the restaurant box for 35 -plus years. Bring your own water dish though. Read the “service dog” review before writing this, and am happy to report it is no longer an issue

Service Dogs Only!

Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q Marietta

Great food . Was surprised to learn that only Service Dogs are generally allowed. it was mid-afternoon and no one was on the outside area but us, so my dog, who is not a Service Dog, and I were allowed to dine together. Terrific BBQ!

Eclectic Excellence

Dada

Here’s a place with something for everyone, especially with a palette for extraordinary cuisine. contrary to the above review from a dissatisfied diner, our experience was without fault. The dog was welcomed and brought a water dish. We were there for the brunch and had crab cake eggs Benedict, and my table mate, the cheese and bacon omelette. also popped for the decadent and scrumptious Parmesan parsley fries (do order the truffle oil on the side). Our server would have been one I would have hired in my own restaurant. I work in a private club in Palm Beach. 5 Bone Review!!
