Dog friendly Victorian delight

It was our first time in Eureka and we needed a dog-friendly hotel for our Pyrenees mix. This hotel is Victorian and has kept a lot of its original (or near-original) charm - so be prepared that some of the modern comforts may be missing (e.g. we had no TV in the room and the walls were paper thin). Location was within walking distance to the Old Town shops and to the waterfront. We will definitely be keeping this place in our rotation for our future Eureka visits.

Awesome

Beautiful location with plenty of manicured office parks nearby to walk the pups — not to mention the lovely waterfront. Gave me peace of mind to be able to leave the pups in the room — where they napped while I was out. Definitely staying here whenever I am back in town with the pups.

Great for pups

We've been driving across the country and have been able to travel with two pups (45 pounds and 80+ pounds) with the peace of mind that we have a place to stay at Holiday Inn. It has everything you need during a long road trip and the lobbies have been delightfully cozy in Laramie, WY and Salt Lake City!

Great dog friendly option

We were passing through Reno and needed a (big) dog friendly hotel option that was close to the major casinos. Whitney Peak was close enough and had spacious rooms. We opted for their King suite and had a great stay. Only issues we encountered — if your dog tends to be reactive or easily distracted, be prepared for the walk from your room to the outside. We had a u-haul trailer with us and had to figure out alternative parking options because they could not accommodate our vehicle (and trailer).
