We went for a short little getaway with one of our dogs, and weren’t expecting much. It was the coldest set of days in years. But we all had a fantastic time. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, the pool and hot tub were marvelous, breakfast was provided, and the grounds were perfect for walking the dog, although it was nice to have short walks on the various paths and by the restaurants and bridges that are very nearby, or going past the memorial to the fisherman, which is right in front of the hotel.

It’s a great location with easy foot access to paths, but also easy car access to most anything you could think of, and you don’t have to get on 50. Best of all, our Snookie had a great time. The one thing that was a problem was that our lock froze nearly all the time, and we’d have to get hot water from the lobby to unlock it so that we could get into the room. There were a few times that I did not think we were going to make it.
