A fun event for everyone and a great road trip with your pup(s)!
Rat Terrier JamboreeThis annual event is SO MUCH FUN!!! Our family refers to it as a "Rat Terrier Family Reunion"! People and their dogs travel from all over the US to get together in beautiful Sweetwater, TN for a weekend of socialization, barbecue, a live auction, a Rat Terrier costume contest, the Jamboree King and Queen contest, terrier racing, agility and more. During “down time,” the two‐legged and four‐legged attendees can enjoy socializing and shopping at various vendor booths. It's a beautiful weekend and a fun road trip with amazing scenery! It is also a fantastic way to support New Rattitude Rat Terrier Rescue and Adoption - a rescue that does amazing work. Traveling over 9 1/2 hours from PA, we use Bring Fido to find other pet-friendly things to do on our road trip, such as pet friendly tours, and pet friendly dining. This is an event that is not to be missed, and once you go, you are hooked!

Ocean City Coffee CompanyA friendly, affordable place to take a break from shopping in the heart of Ocean City, NJ. A huge selection of coffee and tea with all sorts of flavors to add in. Lots of comfortable seating both inside and outside to sit, sip and watch the world go by with your furry companion.

Best view in Cape May, NJ!
The GrilleThis is a must-stop when visiting Cape May Point's Sunset Beach. Staff is incredibly friendly and food is cooked to order. We always, at least, stop for frozen custard (their large cone is L-A-R-G-E!!!) and their veggie burgers are so delicious. Our dog Stella always has a hamburger- and the Grille serves it just the way she likes it: no roll, and chopped up. The view is gorgeous and during the summer, every evening at sunset, there is a very moving flag ceremony. Just go and bring Fido!

Our favorite shop on Asbury Avenue!
Animal HouseWhen you walk into the amazing Animal House, you and your furry companion will be warmly welcomed. This shop has so many unique finds, from accessories like leashes, and bandanas, to toys, animal themed art and one of the best selections of dog clothes, coats, sweaters and costumes I've ever seen. They only offer the highest quality pet food and treats and there's always something new to try- and Shani is always very generous with treats for our Stella to sample. While the food and treats can be a bit more expensive than the big box retailers, I firmly believe the adage that you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay more for good food and treats than pay vet bills for a dog that's not healthy.Animal House's owners clearly have a passion for animals and are incredibly helpful and knowledgable, warm and welcoming.

Great pet friendly dining at an iconic Ocean City landmark
The ChatterboxLots of outdoor seating to accommodate pups and their humans. Staff is friendly and attentive, offering bowls of water for their canine guests. The menu offers classic American style food but, elevated. It features locally sourced dishes such as fish and chips, burgers (including the Impossible Veggie Burger) and lobster rolls. Save room for homemade ice cream from Central Creamery, made at The Chatterbox. Staff even made our pup Stella a hamburger (no roll, no cheese) and chopped it up just the way she likes it! Happy pup, happy humans!

Great, pet friendly dining in OCNJ!
Yianni's CafeYianni's is a great stop in the heart of the busy Ocean City shopping district. There are outdoor tables for people and their pups. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and attentive. They offer a nice bowl of water for their canine guests. Their human companions will enjoy delicious Mediterranean dishes, with favorites such as stuffed grape leaves, hummus and souvlaki as well as seafood, sandwiches and vegetarian and gluten free fare. They also offer fantastic fresh salads and smoothies. We had a great meal with HUGE portions!
