We absolutely loved staying at Anchor Inn. The rooms are perfect for a couple and their furry friend. Stayed with our 2 year old Lab. There are numerous pet-friendly restaurants within walking distance in the historic downtown plus a great water front park all just blocks away. The owner cooks a wonderful breakfast each morning and has great recommendations where to visit with your pet. We will be there next year for sure.

We really wanted to love this place walked out of our way to get here. The front portion of the restaurant is nice but the back porch was lovely. However they weren't as pet friendly as was reported. We picked an outside spot to sit but had to ask for extra water for our dog and grab a used bowl off to the side to give her water. We asked for two specials on the happy hour menu but was only given one and pressured to order our entree multiple times. Got the tuna nachos which were OK and the smashed burger which was good however kudos for giving one of the patties on the side to save for our pup. Juries out if we go back.
