Great location
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Brunswick/Golden IslesGreat location. Large grassy area available for the pups. Would stay again if in the area. A bit more expensive than the previous La Quinta we stayed at, but they had a few more amenities (large outdoor chess, fire pit, large lobby with several TVs).
Fantastic stay
La Quinta by Wyndham FlorenceConvenient location, right off 95. We had a room with a queen bed and sleep sofa (which we didn’t need) giving us more room than we usually get. Nice grassy area for dogs. Hoping to be able to book same room for trip home. Definitely would stay again.
Clean and quiet
Baymont by Wyndham Prince George/Fort Gregg-AdamsStayed one night while driving from NH to FL. We were given a ground floor room. I saw many different dogs, but didn’t hear any during our stay. Nice pizza/grill shop on premises for convenience. The only reason I subtract a bone was for lack of grassy area for the dogs. Will probably stay again on our return.
Great location, but that’s all
Best Western Plus Santee InnWe only stayed one night, but that was enough. As we checked in, we were notified that there was a water pressure problem and that the water would be turned off at 9 am. The pet friendly rooms are on the far side of a different building. There seemed to be a slight odor in the room (may have been cleaner, idk). The sheets and blankets were rough.
Clean, modern and friendly
Tru by Hilton Savannah Midtown GAWe only stayed one night while heading back north. The people were friendly the rooms were clean and modern. The only slight negative would be the size of the room. It was ok for us for a night, but could be a bit tight staying with the pups for longer. Small grass area right outside one of the doors for potty.
Great location and beautiful room
Best Western BayfrontAlthough the room was small not giving our two Havaneses much room to move around, it was updated and very clean. It was also right in the heart of the historical district making it easy to walk everywhere we had planned on visiting. Two slight negatives for us was that the beds were very high (I am vertically challenged ) and to walk (potty) the pups, we had to leave the property and cross a busy street. There are crosswalks and lights making it a bit easier. Be aware that there is a restaurant/bar beside this property and whenever a group left it got a bit noisy, until midnight or shortly after, putting our pups on high alert each time.
Great space
Residence Inn Charleston RiverviewStayed here for two nights on our trip from NH to FL. Very clean and quiet. Beds were comfy, nice breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay here again.
Great location!
Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel & SuitesWe travelled with our two Havaneses and decided to spend a couple nights at the Woodlands. The room was clean and spacious. A plus was that we could walk to the Historic area, which we did, or take a shuttle bus. My only suggestion would be to get there during daylight, as the layout was different and it took us a bit to find the correct entrance to get to our room. I would recommend this to anyone wishing to visit the area.
