This place was everything I hoped it would be. Sue was so welcoming when we checked in that I went back to introduce our dog and chat with her again. The room was as advertised, rustic and comfortable. The view of the dunes was amazing. Our dog even made friends with a friendly community cat. Perfect stay until my husband went to the office at 7:15 am to check out breakfast offerings. The woman (older, long gray ponytail) pointed at the sign that said breakfast starts at 7:30 and yelled at him. He took a picture of the sign in our room that says breakfast starts at 7. She yelled at him again that she doesn’t make the signs. One person at the end of the stay put a stink on it.

I would highly recommend this place. The breakfast was nice with fresh fruit, REAL eggs, and the utensils were individually wrapped. Our room was nice and clean. No icky smells. The only weak link was the bar soap. They have dispensers for shampoo and conditioner, but no body wash or hand soap dispensers. There was lots of grass for our dog to do her thing. Much better than any other place so far on our 2-week road trip.
