We stayed here for one night with my small dog as we passed through Asheville on a road trip. They greeted him by name each time we passed the front desk! The grass right outside the lobby is off limits to pets, but just at the corner of the building is plenty of places to take your pooch to the bathroom. 5-10 minute walk into the heart of downtown! Note: dogs not allowed on the shuttle, but the walk was not bad at all! Many dog friendly restaurants and breweries in Asheville!

Five minutes off of I77 and 5 minutes from Lake Norman itself! Great location with short drive to many shopping areas. Reasonable dog rate and no problems at check-in with my pooch!

Patio is dog friendly for sure! It is mostly shady, but not completely covered. Waiter brought a dog bowl and food was delicious!
