Lovely hotel but not for dogs
Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBDMy big dog travels with me and has been to lots of hotels. Some give dog treats and truly welcome pets, others charge a fee and otherwise ignore the furry travelers. Hilton Garden Inn was the latter - no acknowledgement of my companion. But that's not why the 3-bone review: that is because there is no green space for dog relief. Fortunately my fellow traveler has a better bladder than me, and that New Orleans has many pocket parks a short distance from anywhere.
I was also sorely disappointed by housekeeping who did not clean when asked, who made 1 bed out of the 2 in the room, who "disappeared" one of my personal Blissy silk pillowcases, and removed the TV remote from my room. We encountered other pet owners - and I hope they had a better experience than we did but evidence that pooches with smaller bladders did not make it to the mythical green space, but lost it in the elevator/parking garage lobby on the ground floor before getting outside. Perhaps the hotel would have been a better experience were it not for Mardis Gras season, but I don't think I will return to them to find out.
Great Park for Dogs
Dog Park at Lafreniere ParkLovely place for a stroll, or for sitting on a park bench, watching people and the world go by! There is an actual dog park too - the whole thing is a perfect spot on a sunny day!
Great Stay!
Sonesta Select Chattanooga Hamilton PlaceFriendly staff, nice green space, h-u-g-e room, comfy bed, and shower water pressure to die for!
A quiet stay
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hazelton/Bruceton MillsGot a nice room, on the ground floor, close to the exit and green space. Beds were comfy, and the HVAC was quiet and effective. A pleasant place to sit and stay 🐾
Clean, comfortable, and friendly
Hampton Inn Columbia I-26 Harbison BlvdStaff made it a point to check that we were enjoying our stay. Always happy when the room is clean, beds & pillows comfortable, and when HVAC works well and doesn't disturb sleep. Took advantage of the nice selection of snacks and beverages for sale in lobby. Plus, staff had super handy list of restaurants that did delivery or curbside. So helpful!! Small touches made our stay super easy and enjoyable ❤️💤😁
Decent stay for a quick trip
Hampton Inn IthacaFriendly front desk, but no special treatment for furry family members. Nice rooms, everything you would expect: clean, comfortable bedding, good water pressure, mechanicals (HVAC) that worked, didn't make sleep disturbing noises, and didn't smell. Small things that were disappointing, but not deal breakers were stingy on courtesy items (shampoo, conditioner, soap - barely enough for 1 use for 1 person), and the "green space" for dogs' "business" was a tiny, muddy spot by the dumpster, frequently used by smokers (at picnic table) that was at most 6' x 5'. Luckily, there's plenty of beautiful green space in Ithaca for "business" 🌞
Great Stay!
Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs an IHG HotelHad a great stay at the Holiday Inn! The room was clean, current, HVAC, water pressure for showers, and Wifi were all excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plus - after a long day of travel, it was nice to be able to order room service and relax. (The property has a restaurant - Bookmakers - on site, with a decent menu and good food.) I didn't get a chance to enjoy the pool or hot tub - but they looked fantastic. Plus - a special shout out to Jennifer at the front desk who went above and beyond to help out on a few matters. Thanks for a great stay - Muttley says thanks, too!

Perfect stay!
Comfort Suites Ocean City WestClose to OCMD and Assateague beaches. The room - so clean, smelled nice, well-maintained. The air conditioner? To die for - quiet all night long and made the room temp just the right level of chill. Plus! Fur baby friendly 🤩❣️ Good "green spots" to walk your Fido - nice woodsy area out back.

Just say "Ahhhhhh"...
Hilton Akron/FairlawnAhhhh-mazing stay - would give them a 6 bone rating, if possible. Greeted with a goody bag for my furry one, super friendly staff, and all the great things you come to expect from Hilton properties: lovely rooms, excellent service, (great food!), nice amenities, etc. Fresh, clean smell in the room, perfect pillows, and plenty of towels! This hotel is "a keeper"!
