Covered tables

We ate here on a cold breezy day. The outdoor tables had little greenhouse covers to block the wind + fleece blankets. Hamburgers were good. Chicken tender order was huge (somewhat overcooked, but not too bad).

Terrible customer service

we went here over Breckinridge Brewery based solely on its 5-bone status. Walked in on a relatively warm day only to receive ZERO attention from the staff. We stood there for about five minutes waiting for anyone to help, but got nothing, so we left for a friendlier place (the Irish Pub just down the row).

Dog friendly and educational

We took our two dogs here and they were very welcoming of pups. They only ask that you clean up (fair - though I had to pick up some other dog’s poo). Interesting museum - plan to spend a fair amount of time here!

Great Atmosphere, Good Food!

Accessible by boat (near the mouth of the West River) as well as by car through historic and charming Galesville. This is a great dining spot! Owned by the folks who also own Killarney House Irish Pub/Restaurant in Davidsonville. Menu is a little pricey but food is good ($72 for four people, two of whom ordered off the kids menu, only one alcoholic beverage ordered).

Nice Dog Park!

I’ve brought my dog here a few times. It’s always clean and the dogs and people have been friendly, for the most part. I did have one instance where there were two big exuberant dogs already in the “Small and Shy Dog” section (my dog is very timid), and the owner didn’t seem to care overmuch that they were on the wrong side, but we waited them out.

Adequate

Hotel is clean but has a funny smell. We were given an end room on the first floor - would have liked to have the sheer-type curtains in addition to black-out so I could have the blackouts open while maintaining privacy. They must have discontinued the doggie welcome packs, but that’s ok since I’ve got a picky dog!

Underwhelming

I love a good Irish Pub. One that allows dogs is even better. I will start off by saying that the wait staff were all great - friendly, quick to take orders, serve, plus brought water for the dog. Why not more stars? The food was mediocre. I got the BLT (actually intended to order the Reuben but didn’t - totally my mistake). Everything except the toast and tomatoes was soggy. Sparse soggy bacon and completely wilted lettuce (like they heated it with the lettuce?). One of my kids ordered the chicken tender basket and they were so dry/overcooked that he ended up giving the last one to the dog (I heard her crunching them under the table). Lastly, the dog seating is outside which was very smoky. I get it. Smokers want to eat, too, but fair warning to others - if you don’t want to sit in the smoke, don’t go here.

Definitely Dog Friendly!

Passing through and wanted to bring the dog while we ate dinner. The food was good, the staff friendly, and they offered to bring a dish of water out for my dog!
