too much for some dogs

you really have to know your dog and be able to pivot and do what’s in the best interest of your dog. my girl is usually okay with fireworks and big crowds. but the combination of the home run canon and the loud music and cheers it was way too much. so if your dog is not good with those things i’d suggest keeping them at home as much as it’s so nice to have their company. even if your dogs okay with those things i think some kind of ear protection should be brought. because if it was loud for me i can’t imagine what it’s like for their hyper sense of hearing. i will say though the vendors and amenities were very nice but beware as there’s only a very small section you can bring your dog

and you can’t go anywhere else unless you have someone in your group stay with the dog in the area.

not the best

took my girl here because it was pet friendly park and wanted to walk by the water. towards the back of the park there’s a stretch on a canal and you can see all the houses on the other side and it’s very pretty. however the entire perimeter of the park is a narrow road through the mangroves which is a road shared by cars and many many bikers which you can’t hear coming until they’re right behind you. i was a little uneasy walking much farther than the canal stretch i mentioned earlier. so althought pets are welcome i wouldn’t say it was “pet friendly”
