Staff were very friendly. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices. Nice grassy area for our dog. Would definitely recommend staying here. Wish all the places we stayed during our trip had been as nice.

Way overpriced for the size and condition of the room. I should have chosen one of the cheaper places in the area, but we thought we were treating ourselves for the last night of our trip. The seating area consisted of a cushion in the window that was dirty and had bugs on it. Another cushion seat along the wall with pet stains on it. I even told the person who checked us in that it was stained so he didn’t think my dog did it. He shrugged it off and said not to worry, I wouldn’t be charged because it’s a pet friendly room and it happens. I didn’t realize pet friendly meant dirty.

The bathroom was extremely small. There was a window and the sill was covered in dirt and bugs and there were small gnat like bugs on the wall next to the window. The shower had mold and mildew in all four corners. When we checked in we were told that the restaurant on site wasn’t open because they were switching to winter hours, mind you this was Aug 31st. We could grab a snack if we needed one for 10% off but the only options were a single bag of M&M’s, a couple granola bars, or some pop tarts.

Also, no breakfast on site with the restaurant being closed. I would have preferred to not stay there but was told the reservation was non refundable when I booked it and we were extremely tired from traveling all day.

The room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Two issues: The stay was not quiet as the neighboring room had two dogs that barked a lot and the people themselves were extremely loud. Normally I wouldn’t blame this on the hotel but as I was checking out they asked about the noise and said the people had been asked to leave the day before so they’d have to talk to them again. If they’d been asked to leave they should have followed up to make sure they were gone rather than disrupting more guests. Secondly, housekeeping walked in on me when I was in a towel after just stepping out of the shower. When I went to checkout they said I wasn’t in the system even though I had the keys. They found my name on a printed sheet and then found that the system had checked me out. They said that had happened to several other guests as well.

Nice, quiet, clean room. Good breakfast each day. Friendly staff. The only drawback, and only because our dog is picky, the ‘grassy’ areas were small and more rocky weed patches than grass so my dog refused to use them. There is a restaurant very close with a large lush grass area that I’d walk her to. I’d definitely recommend this location for a pleasant stay with your fur baby.
