As far as budget motels go, this was very nice. Everything was clean, there was a mat for the dog’s water bowl, and it was a short step outside a sliding glass door (how fun!) to the lawn. The only little hitch was that they had assigned us to an upstairs room, but when we said we needed ground floor for the two dogs, they immediately complied, and explained they hadn’t been notified about the dogs. That was puzzling, since we booked through this BringFido app. Breakfast was better than usual, too, with eggs & sausage and a variety of other choices.

We came to Digby via ferry and this place was just up the road. It was convenient, clean, quiet, and comfortable beds & a big tub. Our 2 goldens were quite content. And what a view of the water and beautiful sunrise! Highly recommend.
