We love to travel with our 15 lb terrier mix!

We brought our dog and were seated outside in a covered area, which was fine, but unfortunately it was raining and the service was very limited. We placed our order at the bar and were told someone would come back out with our drinks and food, but we rarely saw anyone afterward. We had to ask for silverware when the food was dropped off, and I ended up getting napkins for us myself. We were also offered water for our dog, but it was never brought to the table.
When the fish came out undercooked, there wasn't anyone around to let know. Because it was raining and we were seated outside, getting someone's attention would have meant walking back through the rain to the bar area. We ultimately made do with the other food.

We had a good dinner at The Boathouse and really enjoyed being able to bring our pup along. The outdoor seating has a nice waterfront atmosphere and was a relaxing place to spend the evening.
We went on a Monday specifically for the crab leg special and ordered about two pounds. The crab was good, and the special made the meal a very good value for us.
The regular menu is a little more expensive than we would typically spend, so the Monday special was definitely what made this restaurant worthwhile for us.
Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and would consider returning when we’re back in the area. It would likely be more of a splurge for us, but the daily specials make it feel like a worthwhile option.

We were happy with the location and availability of outdoor seating that's dog friendly. Most of the outdoor is uncovered. The reason for 4 bones is the food was average bar food at a premium price, probably because the name or brand.

I'll underscorewhatmanyhaveanywaysaid. The outdoor is pup friendly, covered, and there's a good amount of tables. The food was the star. Fairly priced delicious fresh food. Definitely worth a visit. We will be back!
