Great atmosphere, great food!
The Brass TapWe come every Sunday. The tacos are awesome and so is the service! Thanks for another great experience Monica!
Pet friendly, great service!
Cosmo's Restaurant & BarWe come here every year, the food is great, so is the service, and it's always pet friendly!
Amazing food and atmosphere
High's Cafe & StoreThe food was awesome and reasonably priced. (Get the crab cakes!) There were multiple dogs there when we were. But the best part was the atmosphere, just a really lovely place to sit and relax with your four legged family member!
Don't bother
Altdorf BiergartenShowed up 45 minutes before closing time that is posted on the door Lots of open tables outside, tons of customers, said they were closed.
decent and pet-friendly, but...
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Louisville EastAs a pet owner that rarely travels without a dog, I am always on the hunt for nice hotels that don't charge an arm and a leg for my furry companion. La Quintas are hit and miss. We've definitely stayed at some low end La Quintas and even walked out of one. However, they used to be our go-to chain because they didn't charge pet fees, (with the exception of 3 locations in the entire country.) But sometime in the last year we noticed that they started charging pet fees. While this La Quinta was ok, for just $10 more we could've been at the Aloft, (where we stayed on the way to our destination), which was much nicer, with the option of ordering in a hot breakfast (during COVID nonetheless), and there are no pet fees. When we make this trip again in the spring, we will be staying at the Aloft both ways.
Great room and pet-friendly!
Aloft Louisville EastAs pet owners, we're often relinquished to bottom of the barrel hotels or outrageous pet fees. This place is neither lacking or expensive. In fact, there is no pet fee and the room is trendy, comfy, and inviting. We make this trip twice per year, will definitely be back.
Quaint, delicious, pet-friendly
Cheers in the HeightsWe give this place two paws up and five bones! The smoked salmon dip was incredibly tasty, the buttermilk pesto dressing was something to write home about, and the filet was simply amazing! This is exactly the type of place we look for when we travel and we want to try something new. I would be a regular here if I lived nearby. The staff even brought out a water bowl for our pup. Definitely worth a visit.
Good BBQ/Pet-Friendly
Jack's Bar-B-QueWe got the combo plate, pork shoulder and chicken. There's nothing special about the chicken, but the spicy sauce that we put it on it was really good. The pork shoulder was very good as well. The green beans tasted just like Grandma used to make. You must go inside to order and pick up your food. I'm not sure how well that would work if you were by yourself with your dog during a busy time. Someone posted earlier that they carried their dog through the restaurant to the back patio, which we were allowed to do since we entered from the front. However, you can enter through the back straight into the patio area. I would go back.
Good but not great
Baymont by Wyndham Louisville Airport SouthWe were passing through Louisville on the way to Nashville and got tired so decided to stop for the night. This hotel was listed on BringFido so we thought we would give it a try. I'd give it a solid 3 bones. If I stop here in the spring, I bet I'll bump it to a 4. They're in the process of remodeling. The bed was super comfy with what I think we're brand new sheets. They were really soft.
The ottoman in our room was stained and dirty and the tub wasn't draining properly, but they are fixing things up and it was otherwise very clean. The staff was very friendly and thanked me for reporting the bath tub saying they didn't know prior to our stay but would get it fixed. They're very dog-friendly and even
have a spot under cover for potty time in the rain. (BONUS.)
Still pet-friendly, great atmosphere, and great food!
Woodside RestaurantHealthy items on the menu, pet friendly, great service, tasty food! Not sure what the confusion was in the previous person's review, even their website says that they are pet-friendly. The outdoor area has so many improvements since last summer!
Amazing food and atmosphere
Grateful Head Pizza Oven & Beer GardenWe stumbled on this little gem during a trip to Hot Springs. Is built into the side of a mountain. The atmosphere is very unique, and the pizza is out-of-this-world good! Two paws up and @adognamedTansy approved!
The only pet-friendly spot to watch the game that we've found on Hot Springs
Bubba Brews Sports Pub & GrillGreat food, great service, great atmosphere.
