A girl and her dog, we love road tripping!

What a treasure this park is! I’m sure it is absolutely spectacular in the summer months when all is in bloom. Even in the “off season” it was beautiful and very peaceful. Loved the giant bamboo!!!! 3/2026

The large outdoor seating area was my favorite part of this joint. Food was “ok”, and a bit pricey. “Water view” was a dirty canal.

The covered outdoor space was perfect for a drizzly lunch with my pooch. The pulled pork was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Yummy drinks and a view of the Christmas tree in the square were the cherry on top!

Mario was amazing! The clear kayaks were really cool on the gorgeous waters. We saw a ton of bird life, fish, turtles, and even a family of river otters! Mario was friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and just an overall great guide. My dog is about 30 lbs, she fit in a single kayak with me perfectly. Such a wonderful way to experience the river/springs. I highly recommend Get Up and Go Kayaking with Mario!

My photographer was amazing getting Mako to smile for the camera! Lots of options for outfits for all!

Stopped here for a rest during a hot day with my pooch. Cool spot with live music, bar, and food. The pretzel and beer were a perfect snack before tubing!

The waters were little rougher than Mako would have liked in a few spots…but lots of fun! I wish I would have brought something to drink for the long ride. There are a few places you can “pull over” to rest and/or wade.

We enjoyed the rim trails very much. Not too difficult for me (bum knee) and my senior pooch! Gorgeous views. Short hike were key on such a hot day.

Flat, paved, shaded, easy hike. You can access the river near the bridge if you want.

Mako and I rented a kayak on thanksgiving day and had a blast! The river is easily traversed, not too much hard paddling needed. We saw bald eagles, dolphins feeding, manatee, and a ton of fish in the clear waters near the spring. I highly recommend this outfitter and paddle location. Really nice, knowledgeable owners and a perfect place to enjoy nature with your pooches. Can’t wait to go back!

I wouldn’t necessarily say the dog friendly area has great ambience…but the smoked pork sandwich I had was delicious! Really nice staff and a good spot for a quick lunch with the pooch.

This is an awesome outfitter! The location is beautiful and the staff is amazing! Bring the pooch for a paddle full of fish, dolphin, manatee, birds, and beach scenery. I’m a local and I book with these guys at least twice a month!

Come enjoy a cocktail and chow in a super cool atmosphere. Open air concept on the water, so it’s all dog friendly! Great view! try a signature frozen drink and the mahi tacos. Mako was spoiled with an iced water bowl and pets.
FYI….you can only bring dogs on the charter if you’ve booked the entire boat. I tried to join a trip and my pooch was denied. Ignore the one bone rating, I never took the boat ride so I can’t review the activity but I had to chose “something” to post the info.

This patio has 10 four tops, so the chance of getting a dog friendly spot is pretty good. The food is yummy, they have a happy hour, and *bonus* brought mako a bowl of water. The only “down side” is it’s located at the corner of two busy streets, so if you want quiet, it’s not gonna happen. (but who cares? you just had dinner and drinks with your pooch!)

great food, nice patio

This place has a great patio, and they brought my pooch water and a snack of bacon straight away! (who doesn’t love that?!) Yummy beer selection, try a flight.

Great beer selection and a yummy burger. Super dog friendly, Brought water out right away for Mako and they have lots of spots with shade. Highly recommended for a quick lunch while in the Caseville area.

Bring your pooch to the UP! Cute rooms right on Lake Huron. Clean, great staff (Cara is amazing), great location, bonfire and swimming available.

There’s about 7 tables outside that are dog friendly, and they bring a bowl of water out right away for your pooch. Expect $5 beers and $15 burgers...FYI.

Huge dog friendly area. Plenty of shady trees and umbrellas. Staff super friendly and food and cocktails were great.
It wasn’t super crowded. Loved the dog wash stations.

A dog bar. Enough said.

We never even made it to the beach. It may have been the time of year, or the wet weather we’ve been having but they were swarming us on the path to the beach and the path was under water. BRING BUG SPRAY!
There are four tables outside that you can sit at. No special attention for my pooch. I had to go inside to be served.

This spot has an amazing courtyard for you and your pooch to sit and enjoy a brew! When we visited, there was Live music and an energetic crowd. Tons of beer options and seating.
